Iceni Projects have been advising Luxx Europe Developments on the delivery of a new residential development located on Bream’s Buildings in the City of London that will provide 8 x new dwellings.

The project sees the conversion of a vacant office building within a Conservation Area, retaining as much of the existing building as possible including the façade and core, whilst also delivering much needed housing, of a high-quality design and finish.

The nature of the tight, urban, primarily commercial location also presented other considerations and constraints, and Iceni worked closely with the architect and project team to ensure high standards of neighbouring and residential amenity.

Iceni have managed the process to discharge all pre-commencement planning conditions and in February 2019 secured a number of amendments to the consented scheme that will provide better quality residential accommodation, and achieve improved sustainability outcomes.

Construction works are due to commence in 2019 and are expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
