The student accommodation sector has undergone considerable change over the last 10-years. It has driven the modular build process, with a high-quality product, but with steep rises in tuition fees and the pressures this brings to live at home whilst studying it has meant further changes are afoot.
Iceni Projects recognises that going forward: technology, collaborative space and service quality will be increasingly important. Students will increasingly want to watch lectures remotely, but to be able to have high-quality common areas and study zones to collaborate face-to-face. Universities will increasingly look to its estate to improve their academic positioning and attractiveness to students.
