Tom began his career at Transport Planning Associates (TPA), where he spent three formative years developing into a well-rounded Project Technician. During this time he took on a broad range of design responsibilities, gaining valuable experience in junction design across varying levels of complexity and supporting the Transport Planning team with key modelling inputs.

Now working as a Transport Planning Engineer within the Iceni Transport team, Tom contributes to the delivery of high-level design outputs, drawing on his in-depth understanding of national design guidance and its practical application. His role involves interpreting briefs and translating them into effective, site-specific design solutions.

Tom is particularly passionate about junction design, appreciating the unique challenges each project presents. He thrives on the opportunity to create bespoke solutions that respond to the constraints of the site, specific guidance, and the needs of all users.

He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Architecture and Design, which laid the foundation for his strong CAD skills and sparked his enthusiasm for design, ultimately guiding his transition into the transport planning sector.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys winding down and spending time with family, whilst dealing with the unnecessary stress that comes with being an avid supporter of Chelsea Football Club.
