Stefano has acted in a range of management and consultancy roles, with a particular focus on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.

He is skilled at solving complex challenges, balancing a commercial, client-focused approach with archaeological best-practice. His ability to navigate both technical and strategic aspects of archaeology ensures that project outcomes align with client goals while maintaining high professional standards.

Stefano takes a pragmatic, proactive approach to archaeology within the planning process and construction industry. He is experienced in producing a wide range of documents and strategies to support planning applications across all stages of the development lifecycle.

One Earth Solar Farm
Stefano is leading Iceni’s archaeological input for the One Earth Solar Farm project, a proposed 750MW scheme submitted through the DCO process. He has overseen geophysical surveys and a design-led trial-trenching evaluation, provided ongoing archaeological risk advice to inform masterplanning, and led consultation with key stakeholders. Stefano also produced the Environmental Statement for Archaeology in support of the Environmental Impact Assessment and is acting as Expert Witness during the DCO examination.

Intermodal Logistic Park North (ILPN) – St Helens
Stefano is leading archaeological support for ILPN Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project in St Helens. He is managing archaeological inputs to the forthcoming DCO submission, including preparation of the Desk-Based Assessment, management of the Environmental Statement, liaison with statutory and local stakeholders, and coordination of archaeological strategies to support the submission.
