Ruth is a Planning Director at Iceni, based in the Manchester office. She plays a key role in strengthening Iceni’s presence in the North West and supporting the growth of the firm’s multi-disciplinary offer across the regions.

She works closely with colleagues across planning, EIA, infrastructure, transport and economics to coordinate joined-up teams that support clients from early strategy through to consent and delivery.

Ruth brings over 25 years’ experience, 20 of which have been spent working in Manchester, leading challenging projects that require careful management of political, technical and stakeholder risk.

Her expertise spans major development, infrastructure planning and consenting, including Environmental Impact Assessment, Transport and Works Act Orders
and Development Consent Orders. She is particularly recognised for her ability to bring together diverse interests, find common ground and steer schemes through complex decision-making environments.
