Rebecca has experience as a Principal Consultant specialising in Heritage and Placemaking, along with over eight years local planning authority experience, including at Westminster City Council, where she gave professional consideration of alterations and extension to listed buildings as well as development within conservation areas and development within the wider townscape before, during and after the submission of formal planning applications.
She is dual trained in built heritage and townscape and urban design , having a Building Conservation postgraduate degree from the University of Central Lancashire, and a Master of Arts in Urban Design from Westminster University, and is a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
As well as negotiating on development schemes and providing advice and guidance in relation to heritage and conservation principles and wider townscape impacts, Rebecca has experience of preparing Heritage Statements and evidence relating to urban design, conservation and heritage matters.
