Rebecca began her career at Carter Jonas, where she developed a strong grounding in residential and commercial planning, before joining DP9. While at DP9, she worked on a number of high-profile regeneration projects, including Aberfeldy Village and Elephant Park, and secured planning permission for a range of commercial and residential schemes. These included the sensitive retrofit and extension of 40 Holborn Viaduct in the City of London, alongside other complex urban sites.
Rebecca also worked for the Earls Court Development Company as Planning Manager, where she helped to manage the preparation of two major planning applications for this landmark, cross-boundary regeneration scheme. In this role, she coordinated large multidisciplinary teams and led parallel pre-application processes with two local authorities and the GLA.
She has expertise in planning strategy and technical matters, with particular experience in managing politically sensitive projects, hybrid applications and the delivery of high-quality regeneration outcomes.
Outside of work, Rebecca is a keen cyclist and has recently returned from a long-distance self-supported cycling expedition through Central Asia and South America. Rebecca also enjoys creative projects and is always happy to talk about her hand-knitted jumpers.
