Molly recently joined Iceni’s Planning team after working as a CIL Officer at two London authorities, Richmond and Wandsworth. This experience provided her with an invaluable insight into planning processes from a local authority perspective, and experience interacting with both planning officers and developers.

Molly graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a BA Geography degree, before studying at the Bartlett (UCL), graduating in 2020 with an RTPI accredited MSc in Spatial Planning.

Before pursuing a career in planning, Molly gained client-facing experience in the year between her studies working in corporate environmental research, and spent 4 months volunteering and travelling in Nepal and India.

Since joining, Molly has been working with the London Planning team on a variety of projects, conducting planning appraisals and policy research, preparing and submitting planning applications on schemes of varying scales. She has taken a proactive approach to getting involved in everything from speculative work, to assisting on major multi-stakeholder schemes within London. She is currently working towards becoming a full member of the RTPI.

Outside of the office, Molly enjoys cycling, hiking, walking her dogs on Hampstead Heath and going to festivals.
