More recently, she completed her MSc in Urban Development Planning at UCL in 2024, graduating with Distinction and earning the Bartlett Accolade of ‘Commendation’ for her dissertation on planning urban Nature-based Solutions to reduce climate risk in Nairobi.
Mary-Helen joined Iceni in July 2024 as an Assistant Planner, working across the Strategic Planning and Economics teams. Since joining Iceni, Mary- Helen has consistently provided comprehensive planning support across a range of residential, mixed-use and strategic land promotion projects.
She has played a key role in drafting compelling representations for local plan consultations, contributing to the development of effective planning policies. Her work also involves in-depth policy research and the monitoring of broader regional trends, allowing her to bring a holistic perspective and
thorough approach to each project.
