Previously Lauren worked as a Graduate Economist at Ofwat, the UK’s water sector regulator, working across various areas including cost assessment and incentive-based regulation. Prior to this she completed a BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham with a focus on microeconomics, econometrics and monetary economics.

Lauren works on a wide range of projects in the Economics team, with a focus on the commercial market and employment land. She undertakes economic baseline research, commercial market reports, employment land need modelling and data analysis.

Recently Lauren has worked on a number of regional studies, including employment land studies in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire as well as the West Midlands Strategic Employment Sites Study (WMSESS), the latter focused on the future need and supply of strategic logistics sites, undertaking in-depth GIS analysis to identify potential sites and engaging with a number of stakeholders and carrying out data analysis to build a scoring framework for assessment.
