Having worked for a mix of public and private sector clients, she has gained valuable project management experience through being responsible for delivering projects to timescale and budget and meeting the needs of her clients.

Kelly’s previous development management experience has given her an insight into Local Planning and Highway Authority expectations of planning submissions, which has proved invaluable in her current development planning role.

Within development planning, Kelly has a particular interest in delivery and servicing strategies and opportunities to reduce travel demand for freight.

Her day-to-day role involves working collaboratively with architects and multi-disciplinary design teams on design development to ensure that concept designs can work in practice from a transport perspective. This includes managing the preparation of transport documents to support planning applications and liaising with highway officers and statutory consultees on transport matters.
