Hannah is an experienced chartered town planner with over 16 years’ experience in the private and public sector. Before joining Iceni, she managed the Strategic Sites and Delivery Team at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. She was responsible for delivering the masterplanning of two strategic garden settlements, including a comprehensive infrastructure framework, to support the delivery of 6,500 new homes and a revitalised town centre through the Local Plan. She is experienced in ensuring masterplanning documents form a sound evidence base to underpin Local Plans, and formulating effective local plan policies, and has achieved this by building good relationships with key stakeholders across Kent. She also has very recent experience at providing lead expert evidence at local plan examinations.
Prior to this, Hannah spent over 13 years in the commercial and town centre team at Lichfields. During this time, she gained extensive experience of leading the preparation and submission of major planning schemes, included EIA developments. Project examples include the comprehensive redevelopment of shopping centres for Hermes (Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells), Intu (both at Lakeside and the Victoria and Queensgate Shopping Centre, Nottingham), Lendlease (Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough), and Aviva (Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham). She also advised British Land on its acquisition of 4.9 acres of land in Woolwich town centre. In addition, she has prepared Retail and Leisure Studies for Local Planning Authorities.
