He has experience in sub-regional spatial planning; strategic planning applications, five year housing land supply; economic impact assessments and employment need and supply assessments. He is the co-author of the Greater Birmingham HMA Strategic Growth Study and has prepared a range of technical evidence to support planning applications and local plan preparation.
Gregg’s skills also lie in the promotion of strategic housing and employment sites through the Local Plan process – most commonly on greenfield sites. He has project managed the preparation and submission of residential and commercial planning applications as well as strategic housing market assessments for local planning authorities.
He has an interest in planning case law and has provided evidence at a number of roundtable hearings (conducted during s78 inquiries) on five year housing land supply across England. Gregg also appears on behalf of clients at Local Plan Examinations in Public.
Outside of work, Gregg is a keen cook, brewer and baker.
