Since joining the Urban Planning team in June 2018, Gill has been involved in advising clients on various proposals including York Road, Maidenhead project (Countryside), The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton (Cairn Group) & on major development schemes in the BtR sector.

Gill advises on development projects across the UK, mainly in the South East, providing advice on all town planning and planning permission related queries.

She is currently advising a number of clients in the tech sector in relation to planning implications arising from new forms of development and is a Committee Member of Women in PropTech (WiPT) London. Gill is also particularly interested in Health and Wellbeing in the planning realm and is a Wellbeing Champion for Iceni; is a Member of Health and Wellbeing in Planning Network and is a committee member of PropFit.

Gill joined the Planning team at Iceni Projects from St Albans City & District Council and has 20 years’ experience within development planning. She completed a BA (Hons) Urban Studies & Planning degree and post graduate diploma at Sheffield University and then gained extensive experience with Dalton Warner Davis, Montagu Evans, Turley and Smith Jenkins.

As a planning officer with St Albans, she was the case officer on the applications for the listed Grade II* Town Hall & Museum project, and a wide range of applications relating to prior approval, change of use, residential and for education purposes. She is Iceni Lead for the Schools Sector.

Gill has been a member of the RTPI since 2000.
