Prior to joining the Heritage & Townscape Team, Georgie gained work experience at Donald Insall Associates and the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust, where she practiced combining academic skills such as archival research with investigative building analysis and recording.

Throughout her first year at Iceni, Georgie has applied her understanding of built fabric and architectural history to a diverse range of projects. Her work continues to involve the production of a variety of built heritage appraisals such as Heritage Statements, Building Recordings and Environmental Impact Assessment Chapters. Georgie currently enjoys expanding her townscape knowledge by assisting in the production of Townscape and Visual Assessments.

Having previously lived in North Wales and York, Georgie is familiar with the Northwest and is always eager to get involved in projects with our Manchester Office. Nevertheless, she considers each experience working on a building development project in the Southeast presents an exciting opportunity to better understand the built area which she now calls home.
