Before starting with the Iceni Planning team, Finn worked as a graduate planner and then City of Nature Officer at Birmingham City Council, Europe’s largest unitary authority. In working on the City of Nature project, Finn developed his skills as a communicator and organiser, working across siloes to deliver a complex, multifaceted project that sought to embed biodiversity and nature into Birmingham’s built environment.

Finn is excited to start his career in planning with Iceni whose mission statement and values greatly match his own; pursuing new and better and improving the lives of others through the built environment. Working in the London team, Finn has performed extensive research, planning appraisals and planning submissions across an enormous range of projects from repurposing exceptional listed buildings to large scale mixed used schemes across London. Building on his experience in Birmingham, Finn has been able to develop a keen ability to understand, assess and communicate planning policy to the benefit of Iceni’s clients.

When Finn isn’t working you can usually find him in the kitchen competing (and failing) with his chef partner for crown of best cook.
