Her early professional experience was gained at a Hertfordshire-based local authority, where she worked on a wide variety of planning applications and built a strong understanding of planning policy and decision-making processes, including presenting applications at committee.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Geography (BA (Hons)) at the University of Liverpool and went on to pursue her interest in the built environment by studying for an MA in Town Planning at London South Bank University. She is a Licentiate Member of the RTPI and is currently progressing towards Chartered Membership in 2026.

Outside of the world of planning, she enjoys exploring the world through travelling, running, and spending time with friends.
