Diego is an award-winning architect, urban designer, place vision setting, and project management professional with over twenty years of experience working in collaboration with the private industry, the public sector, and local communities.

Throughout this time, he has been involved in the thinking, designing, and facilitating of a wide variety of sustainable developments, ranging from large strategic regeneration projects, to mix use buildings and residential developments.

His diverse background and experience have encouraged Diego to develop new methodologies to help understand, integrate, and nurture the productive, social, cultural, and environmental layers of a place from the inset and throughout, helping deliver better, smarter, and well-integrated places and healthier neighbourhoods.

Some of his work include successful mixed-use proposals for large areas of regeneration such as the Liberties Local Area Plan (LAP) in Dublin, and the Alderholt Sustainable Town Growth in Dorset; innovative Masterplans such as the multi-award winning Urridaholt masterplan in the outskirts of Reykjavik, Iceland, and the Sustainable Urban Extension to the north of Littlehampton in Sussex; and difficult brownfield sites such as the redevelopment of the GE Aviation Campus in the Hamble peninsula, transitioning from industrial occupation to a sustainable mixed use development.

Diego is a member of the Academy of Urbanism and a member of the Transition Forest Row group, a community-led organisation aimed at promoting a sustainable future for the Ashdown Forest area in East Sussex.
