Archie is a committed and conscientious urban planner with several years of experience working on some of the most challenging and high-profile projects in London and the Southwest.

Across all work, Archie combines strategic thinking with an appetite for developing his skills and learning further planning knowledge. Archie would consider himself to be ambitious and enthusiastic in all planning projects.

Archie joined Iceni’s London Planning Team following time at the planning consultancy, DP9, where he worked on prestigious projects including Battersea Power Station and across a number of London boroughs including Wandsworth, Westminster, Islington, RBKC and the City of London. Before joining DP9, Archie worked at both the London Borough of Wandsworth and Richmond Upon Thames for just under two years with their development management and enforcement teams, where he gained invaluable insight into planning and from a local authority perspective.

Since joining Iceni, Archie has worked on a number of mixed-use projects across London and around the UK, combining a personable approach with planning expertise to help drive projects forward and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Archie’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Planning and Geography at Sheffield Hallam University, where he completed a placement year at Leeds City Council (in the neighbourhood planning team), worked across all planning departments at Haringey Council including Development Management, Planning Policy and Planning Enforcement as well as the Transport and Urban Design departments. He then lived in Toronto for six months where he studied Urban Planning at Ryerson University. Archie is an Associate RTPI member having achieved the feat in June 2022.

In his spare time, Archie’s hobbies include football, cricket, exploring London’s pubs, travelling, going to music concerts, and playing rugby for Finchley RFC. He’s looking to learn Spanish or French in the new year.
