Andrew is a Planning Director at Iceni projects and enjoys the challenge of advising on complex mixed-use proposals across a range of sectors. He has strong experience in the residential sector, where he advises a range of clients including national and niche house builders, registered providers, mixed-use developers, investors and land owners. He also provides advice to a range of commercial clients including Ford Motor Company, SEGRO, Landid and Wrenbridge, often advising on large-scale developments in either urban or greenfield settings. His work includes advising on planning strategies, site promotion (including appearing at Examinations) large-scale planning application submissions (including referrals to GLA), and some appeal work.
Andrew is also the Chief Operating Officer at Iceni Projects, and is therefore responsible for ensuring a professional and diligent approach across the whole company, and ensuring that our clients needs are best met. He brings many years’ experience from both a public sector and large-corporate perspective
Andrew was schooled in the ‘art’ of town planning whilst working for two local authorities, Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury, in Kent. This experience taught him early and valuable lessons in how the UK planning system and development industry interact. He has continued to develop his professional and commercial skills having worked as a planning consultant in several large multi-disciplinary firms including Cushman & Wakefield and as a Partner at Drivers Jonas Deloitte, before joining Iceni Projects in 2012.
