His work spans residential, mixed-use, and regeneration projects, covering a wide range of scales from single dwellings and medium-sized developments to strategic masterplans for prestigious housebuilders and land promoters. Aghiad’s expertise includes all stages of the planning process, from conceptual design and capacity studies to development frameworks and detailed layouts supporting outline applications, reserved matters, and detailed planning submissions.

He has a strong understanding of what makes planning applications successful and is highly familiar with the UK planning system, including the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), the National Design Guide (NDG), and varied guidance published by local planning authorities. This knowledge, combined with a collaborative approach, helps him deliver proposals that are well-informed, practical, and achievable.

Before joining Iceni in November 2025, Aghiad worked with leading consultancies including CSA Environmental, Savills, and Pegasus Group, gaining valuable experience across diverse projects and contexts.

Outside of work, Aghiad enjoys creating art and designing patterns inspired by the places he visits, keeping his passion for design alive beyond masterplanning.
