At Iceni Projects we pride ourselves on not being afraid to do things differently – so why not in our 13th year (unlucky for some) renovate an underground car park in Farringdon to create the new London home for the next 13 years?
It was out of necessity, with significant growth across the company in terms of people and services, that finding a new home became a priority for us. Plus, our Glasgow and Manchester offices had new spaces – so London was feeling a little left out.
Now we have arrived and with opportunity for reflection it is clear how the journey to our new home was the embodiment of the attitudes, skills, and values that define us as Iceni Projects. A journey that has been personal. It wasn’t the easiest option, or the quickest but it was the right option.
As a company we are commercially-minded. Our beginnings rooted in having the skills of a planner with the instincts of a developer, that has grown and evolved into being our clients’ preferred strategic adviser. We are a modern, young, forward-thinking company willing to embrace the unconventional. We love nothing more than tackling the big, challenging projects and we like to make work a fun and enjoyable experience.
With our developer’s mindset we were proactive in working with our landlord, client, and friends, Estates & Agency, in spotting and seizing on the opportunity to deliver this hugely ambitious new office space in an underground car park in Farringdon. Iceni did the planning, so that bit was always going to go well!
Saffron Hill is designed to encourage and enhance how we function as strategic advisers. We are proud of what we have created. Our work space enables cross-team working for the benefits of clients’ projects bringing the brains and skills of each specialism together in one place for the first time.
