The proposals include 2,800 new homes, a 1ha park, a 6FE Secondary School, workspace, retail and a riverside pub.
Pre-application engagement activities delivered as part of the pre-application public consultation process have included community stakeholder workshops on open space and identity, drop-in exhibitions, a Development Forum public meeting, one-to-one meetings and attendance at community events such as the Big Local Fun Day.
The 2,800 home hybrid planning application secured unanimous resolution to grant at the Strategic Development Committee at Tower Hamlets in spring 2019 with only 14 only neighbour objections.
