Demolition of existing buildings and construction of a mixed use scheme for commercial and 64 residential units and associated works.

Iceni secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the existing site to provide a mixed use scheme for a part single, part 6 and part 8 storey building providing flexible floorspace for B1c, B2 and B8 purposes together with 64 residential (including on site affordable housing) units.

The new scheme comprises a high quality, well designed building which will provide new, high-quality commercial floorspace suitable for a range of occupiers.

The proposed building is of a high-quality design, drawing on local and “art deco” influences. It utilises high quality materials and the homes will be well designed in terms of daylight, sunlight, noise attenuation and energy efficiency. The residential units include the provision of private amenity and on-site communal amenity space.

The scheme will enhance the appearance of the site in the local streetscene and relates well to the nearby Acton Park Conservation Area.
