Members of Glasgow City Council Planning Applications Committee voted to approve the application for 63 new homes in Glasgow’s West end yesterday, subject to signing of a s69 agreement.
The proposed development of 63 high quality apartments with private car and cycle parking and landscape deck has been sensitively designed to complete the perimeter block at this brownfield site, location of the former Middlefield Residential School, in the Glasgow West Conservation Area. The proposal is finished with high quality blonde sandstone on the main elevations.
The decision followed a site visit by the Committee and a detailed discussion after which the majority of the Committee voted in favour of following the Planning Officer’s recommendation for approval.
Iceni Projects are delighted to be working with Westpoint and the project team which includes Coltart Earley Architects, LDA Design and Ramage Young on this new development in Glasgow.
