Zak has a keen interest in the political process and is passionate about engaging with communities and achieving change through regeneration
Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Zak moved to Manchester to study Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester.
Whilst studying Zak became heavily involved in politics at both local and national level, with him serving as Chair of Manchester Labour Students and as North West Regional Coordinator of National Labour Students. Zak’s experience has helped him develop a deep understanding of local, regional and national politics, of working with communities and building relationships with elected members across the North West.
Zak has worked in the constituency office of a Stoke-on-Trent Member of Parliament. In this role he has been involved in the production of communications and in engaging with constituents at meetings, events and advice surgeries.
