Paul has a broad range of creative knowledge which he has developed over 30 years
For the last 20 years he has been an urban designer and masterplanner working on a wide range of strategic growth and regeneration projects. He has provided urban design frameworks for urban extensions, housing and mixed-use schemes and has designed civic spaces.
Between 2002-2015, Paul directed Paul Drew Design Ltd which for the latter years had enjoyed an energised working relationship with Iceni Projects as co-consultant. Now contributing to the Design Sector within Iceni, Paul is expanding his company’s previous benchmark of quality masterplans for sustainable settlements. This means continuing to work for the public and private sector with his passion is for concept designs, design codes, design guides and design reviews.
Earlier, as a senior urban designer at Llewelyn-Davies Paul contributed towards national design guidance such as ‘Better, Places to Live’ (DETR) and the ‘Urban Design Compendium’ (EP). He also worked on the masterplan for Port Marine (Building for Life Gold Award in 2004) followed by Orchard Park, Cambridge; Loves Farm, St. Neots and the Milton Keynes Western Expansion.
