Alun helped set up Iceni Engagement with the objective of providing strategic and ‘value added’ political, communications and community engagement services to developers.
He joined Iceni after setting up his own consultancy advising on major property and strategic land projects in the north.
As a former councillor in London and adviser to the Rt. Hon Harriet Harman MP, interim leader of the Labour Party he understands the politics of planning.
Alun has advised on a wide range of development projects for a number of developers including British Land, Sainsbury’s, Berkeley Group, MAN Diesel, Saint-Gobain, Marcol, Land Securities, London School of Economics, Unite Students, Southwark NHS Trust, Estates & Agency Group and the University of Liverpool.
Alun is passionate about regeneration and the role meaningful consultation with local communities and elected members can play in delivering successful outcomes for developers and local communities.
At weekends, he can be found with his family walking their dogs (Charlie, the Chocolate Labrador and Harvey, the Cocker Spaniel) or watching Everton FC. Alun and his wife Rosie also run a small property business.
