Alice initially joined the Iceni team as a part-time intern and research assistant alongside her Masters studies in November 2017 before joining as a full-time Assistant Planner in September 2018. Prior to joining Iceni, she has several years business development experience and worked for one of the UK’s largest archaeological contractors. In this role, she identified opportunities on upcoming development sites with archaeological implications across London and the South East. She was also part of the team that successfully secured several large contracts for heritage and archaeological works on some of London’s flagship developments and several Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. This experience fuelled her interest in planning and London’s built environment.
Now graduating with an MSc in Spatial Planning from the Bartlett (UCL) Alice works within the Central London team on a variety of projects, conducting planning appraisals and policy research, as well as preparing and submitting applications on a range of schemes. She is now working towards becoming a full member of the RTPI.
